I generally don’t write about misery here, which is probably why you all think I’m Little Mary Sunshine, but I’ve actually been kind of in and out of depression for the last several days. (I used to call it random sadness.) And I just needed highway music really badly. The kind of stuff I’d listen to while driving on empty streets in the middle of the night, wind in my hair. If I drove and if we lived in a country that made it even remotely okay to own a convertible, that is. Stuff that just makes me feel alive.
This one’s a quickie. I’ve got plebeian taste in music (trust me, I’m overrated), so I’m guessing you might already have most (if not all) of these on your hard drives, but in case you don’t:
