Hi, Ina! I started taking pictures in 2004, with a cheap, unbranded point-and-shoot camera. Then I was given a 4 megapixel Canon P&S for Christmas, and then I bought myself my first SLR for my 18th birthday in 2005. :) My pictures are pretty much whatever I come across during the day — it’s just a hobby, so I don’t stick to a certain style or subject. But yes, I do like taking pictures of the places I’ve been. :) I really don’t think I’m worth looking up to, and I mean that, but thank you. :) Take care, and of course, love you too. ♥

Oh hi! Thank you! :) I actually don’t know why I started referring to Jason as “the Boyfriend” on my blog. I suppose to some extent, it was a way of keeping the personal a little more personal, although I never had any reason to keep his identity private since he’s more of a public figure than I am. In a way, I think part of it is also because I like to imagine that my life is an ongoing story, and everyone in it is a character, and of course, that’s the character he plays. Does that make sense? :)

So you already saw the new Starbucks planner huh? Are you getting one? If not, which planner do/will you use?

Oh, no, I didn’t bother checking it out this year. I have a July 2009 to December 2010 Moleskine planner on my desk, but I haven’t even been using that because all my to do lists and my schedule are mapped out in my phone. It’s a lot more convenient than having to bring a book around everywhere. :)

Hmm, why vivatregina? What’s the story behind the “vivatregina”? Thanks Ms. Reggie! More power to you. :))

Vivat regina is Latin for “long live the queen,” and I’m just really not very creative when it comes to naming things, so I went with that. :) Give me some time, though, and I can probably come up with a “deeper” meaning behind the name choice! Haha.

Hi! Off the top of my head, it’ll have to be the time I got a phone call from MTV Asia telling me I won a trip for two to Malaysia to see the MTV Asia Awards in 2008. :) I registered on the site and voted for Sandwich thrice (Chicosci won — we hung out a bit with Mong and Calde while we were there) and then promptly forgot about ever doing it, and about a month later, I got a call from Singapore on my cell (I could tell by the country code), and it was a woman telling me she needed me to send her my passport details for my plane tickets! It was crazy. :) My friend Carla and I had a great time. So many stories for such a brief trip! :)

What is scary, if anything, about your relating intimately with someone? Just picked that question randomly out of Ice Breaker 2. :)

I actually don’t know what you mean (or in this case, Ice Breaker 2 means) by “relating intimately.” Is that a polite euphemism for sex? Haha! :) I suppose I’ll take it to mean “getting close to someone” or “forming an emotional attachment to someone.” The scariest part about getting that close to someone is the possibility of the relationship ending. Like, if you’ve invested so much of yourself in the other person and then suddenly you get cut off, speaking from experience, that just hurts.

Hey Mayee! It was nice meeting you at Meiday! :) I don’t think we ever end up at the same gigs since you seem to be a Terno girl and of course I invariably end up following the Pedicab/Sandwich crowd around. Haha. But it’s always so great to see familiar faces at gigs! ♥
