I read somewhere (I can’t remember where) that someone said that you have to post at least once a day to be a proper blogger. So that you stay top-of-mind, I guess, and so that people come back expecting to see something new every day.
I could not care less, really, and I suppose that makes me not much of a blogger. More things to do in real life, too much work unfinished. The world is bigger than blogging, at least for me (since I’m not a career blogger). If you want more frequent updates, I’m on Instagram (@vivatregina) posting really random things.
But here: My Sally Hansen Salon Effects nails. Not my pattern of choice, but Myrza brought these home and raffled them off (among other items) from a gift bag from her trip to Madrid for COSMIC, and I asked Paula to trade for them because I wanted to try them out. I found them really easy to use (though I haven’t attempted to “stretch” the strips to fit some of my nails for full coverage, but I’ll try that next time); it took less than 10 minutes to get them all on, and that included buffing and filing pre-application. Topped with a coat of Seche Vite because I never feel right without a topcoat.
I’d still stick to standard nail polish for solid colors, but for interesting patterns and nail art, these things sure are useful.
